{"id":3356,"date":"2026-03-04T00:06:33","date_gmt":"2026-03-04T00:06:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/marymarchantepsicologa.com\/?p=3356"},"modified":"2026-03-19T16:34:47","modified_gmt":"2026-03-19T16:34:47","slug":"mi-novio-me-ha-pedido-un-tiempo-como-vivirlo-sin-perderme-a-mi-misma","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/marymarchantepsicologa.com\/en\/2026\/03\/04\/mi-novio-me-ha-pedido-un-tiempo-como-vivirlo-sin-perderme-a-mi-misma\/","title":{"rendered":"Mi novio me ha pedido un tiempo: c\u00f3mo vivirlo sin perderme a m\u00ed misma"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"413\" data-end=\"768\">Cuando una paciente llega a consulta y me dice <em data-start=\"459\" data-end=\"494\">\u201cmi novio me ha pedido un tiempo\u201d<\/em>, suele contarse con un nudo en el est\u00f3mago, mil preguntas en la cabeza y la sensaci\u00f3n de que los cimientos est\u00e1n tambale\u00e1ndose.\u00a0<br data-start=\"651\" data-end=\"654\" \/>Es normal.<br data-start=\"664\" data-end=\"667\" \/>Es humano.<br \/>\nPorque puede que las cosas cambien y a los seres humanos nos gustan las certezas, las rutinas.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"413\" data-end=\"768\">Cuando la persona que queremos nos pide distancia, todo nuestro sistema nervioso se activa porque lo siente como algo peligroso.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"770\" data-end=\"950\">Pero que sea doloroso no significa que sea el fin.<br data-start=\"820\" data-end=\"823\" \/>Y tampoco significa que no tengas margen para cuidarte, entender qu\u00e9 est\u00e1 pasando y tomar decisiones desde un lugar m\u00e1s sereno.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"952\" data-end=\"1069\">En este art\u00edculo quiero acompa\u00f1arte justo ah\u00ed: en la parte humana, emocional y real de recibir esa frase tan dif\u00edcil.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1042\" data-end=\"1113\">\u00bfQu\u00e9 significa que mi pareja quiera un tiempo?<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1131\" data-end=\"1187\">Lo primero que trabajamos en consulta es una idea clave:<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1189\" data-end=\"1285\"><strong data-start=\"1192\" data-end=\"1285\">Un \u201ctiempo\u201d no siempre habla de falta de amor.<br data-start=\"1240\" data-end=\"1243\" \/>Muchas veces habla de falta de herramientas.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1287\" data-end=\"1506\">Hay personas que piden tiempo porque est\u00e1n saturadas, confundidas, bloqueadas o superadas por la din\u00e1mica que est\u00e1 creando la relaci\u00f3n.<br data-start=\"1422\" data-end=\"1425\" \/>No es que no te quieran.<br data-start=\"1449\" data-end=\"1452\" \/>Es que no saben c\u00f3mo seguir sin herirse o herirte m\u00e1s.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1508\" data-end=\"1680\">Lo que s\u00ed es importante entender es esto:<br data-start=\"1549\" data-end=\"1552\" \/><strong data-start=\"1552\" data-end=\"1594\">\u201cTiempo\u201d no es sin\u00f3nimo de \u201csoluci\u00f3n\u201d.<\/strong><br data-start=\"1594\" data-end=\"1597\" \/>Es simplemente una pausa. Y lo que se haga dentro de esa pausa marca la diferencia.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3362\" data-end=\"3460\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-3355 size-medium aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/marymarchantepsicologa.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/paicologo-pareja-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"paicologo pareja\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" srcset=\"https:\/\/marymarchantepsicologa.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/paicologo-pareja-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/marymarchantepsicologa.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/paicologo-pareja-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/marymarchantepsicologa.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/paicologo-pareja-18x10.jpg 18w, https:\/\/marymarchantepsicologa.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/paicologo-pareja-600x338.jpg 600w, https:\/\/marymarchantepsicologa.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/paicologo-pareja.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1607\" data-end=\"1672\">Cuando escucho \u201cmi novio me ha pedido un tiempo\u201d, estas son las preguntas que trabajamos<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1784\" data-end=\"1829\">No para sufrir m\u00e1s, sino para entender mejor:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1831\" data-end=\"2093\">\n<li data-start=\"1831\" data-end=\"1883\">\n<p data-start=\"1833\" data-end=\"1883\">\u00bfC\u00f3mo estaba la relaci\u00f3n antes de esta petici\u00f3n?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1884\" data-end=\"1936\">\n<p data-start=\"1886\" data-end=\"1936\">\u00bfHa sido algo hablado o una decisi\u00f3n unilateral?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1937\" data-end=\"1987\">\n<p data-start=\"1939\" data-end=\"1987\">\u00bfQu\u00e9 necesita \u00e9l realmente y qu\u00e9 necesitas t\u00fa?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1988\" data-end=\"2027\">\n<p data-start=\"1990\" data-end=\"2027\">\u00bfC\u00f3mo te sientes t\u00fa con esta pausa?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2028\" data-end=\"2093\">\n<p data-start=\"2030\" data-end=\"2093\">\u00bfQu\u00e9 l\u00edmites necesitas para sentirte segura durante el proceso?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"2095\" data-end=\"2206\">Porque ojo:<br data-start=\"2106\" data-end=\"2109\" \/>El \u201ctiempo\u201d no lo pide solo tu pareja.<br data-start=\"2147\" data-end=\"2150\" \/><strong data-start=\"2150\" data-end=\"2206\">Lo vives t\u00fa tambi\u00e9n.<br data-start=\"2172\" data-end=\"2175\" \/>Y t\u00fa tambi\u00e9n tienes voz aqu\u00ed.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"2954\" data-end=\"2997\">Un tiempo no es una espera pasiva: tambi\u00e9n es tu espacio<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2278\" data-end=\"2349\">Muchas personas interpretan este tiempo como:<br data-start=\"2323\" data-end=\"2326\" \/>\u201cYo espero, \u00e9l piensa\u201d.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2351\" data-end=\"2368\">Y eso no es sano.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2370\" data-end=\"2599\">Un tiempo de pareja tambi\u00e9n es un espacio para ti:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"2370\" data-end=\"2599\">para revisar c\u00f3mo te relacionas,<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2370\" data-end=\"2599\">qu\u00e9 necesitas,<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2370\" data-end=\"2599\">qu\u00e9 l\u00edmites quieres,<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2370\" data-end=\"2599\">qu\u00e9 tipo de relaci\u00f3n te gustar\u00eda construir,<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2370\" data-end=\"2599\">d\u00f3nde te perdiste intentando sostener todo.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"2601\" data-end=\"2705\">No est\u00e1s \u201cesperando a ver qu\u00e9 decide \u00e9l\u201d.<br data-start=\"2642\" data-end=\"2645\" \/>Est\u00e1s <strong data-start=\"2651\" data-end=\"2674\">viviendo tu proceso<\/strong>, y eso es igual de importante.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1760\" data-end=\"1822\">\u00bfDebo aceptar un tiempo aunque no me guste la idea?<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2772\" data-end=\"2940\">No es blanco o negro.<br \/>\n<br data-start=\"2793\" data-end=\"2796\" \/>Aceptar un tiempo no significa que est\u00e9s de acuerdo, sino que entiendes que <strong data-start=\"2872\" data-end=\"2939\">forzar a alguien a continuar no genera v\u00ednculo, genera desgaste<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2942\" data-end=\"3000\">Pero s\u00ed puedes poner condiciones para que no te haga da\u00f1o:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"3002\" data-end=\"3355\">\n<li data-start=\"3002\" data-end=\"3074\">\n<p data-start=\"3004\" data-end=\"3074\">Necesito saber si este tiempo es indefinido o con fecha de revisi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3075\" data-end=\"3132\">\n<p data-start=\"3077\" data-end=\"3132\">Necesito saber qu\u00e9 tipo de contacto vamos a mantener.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3133\" data-end=\"3234\">\n<p data-start=\"3135\" data-end=\"3234\">Necesito saber si seguimos manteniendo los acuerdos de pareja (fidelidad, exclusividad, l\u00edmites).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3235\" data-end=\"3355\">\n<p data-start=\"3237\" data-end=\"3355\">Necesito saber qu\u00e9 intenci\u00f3n hay detr\u00e1s del tiempo: \u00bfreflexi\u00f3n? \u00bfdescanso? \u00bfevitar discutir? \u00bfpensar si quiere seguir?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"3357\" data-end=\"3427\">Estas preguntas no son una manera de presionar.<br data-start=\"3388\" data-end=\"3391\" \/>Son aspectos b\u00e1sicos que nos van a permitir no sobrepensar porque no hay lagunas o aspectos que me generan sufrimiento.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"3434\" data-end=\"3495\"><strong data-start=\"3437\" data-end=\"3495\">\u00bfAporta algo darse un tiempo? S\u00ed, pero depende de esto<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"3497\" data-end=\"3527\">Un tiempo puede ayudar cuando:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"3529\" data-end=\"3715\">\n<li data-start=\"3529\" data-end=\"3560\">\n<p data-start=\"3531\" data-end=\"3560\">La relaci\u00f3n est\u00e1 muy tensa<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3561\" data-end=\"3600\">\n<p data-start=\"3563\" data-end=\"3600\">Necesit\u00e1is respirar emocionalmente<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3601\" data-end=\"3648\">\n<p data-start=\"3603\" data-end=\"3648\">Hay patrones repetitivos que os hacen para evitar hablar,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3767\" data-end=\"3798\">\n<p data-start=\"3769\" data-end=\"3798\">No hay comunicaci\u00f3n m\u00ednima,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3799\" data-end=\"3819\">\n<p data-start=\"3801\" data-end=\"3819\">No hay claridad ni honestidad,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3820\" data-end=\"3858\">\n<p data-start=\"3822\" data-end=\"3858\">Se interpreta como libertad total,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3859\" data-end=\"3902\">\n<p data-start=\"3861\" data-end=\"3902\">Te deja en una incertidumbre desgastante.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"3904\" data-end=\"4028\">Un tiempo \u00fatil es aquel en el que <strong data-start=\"3938\" data-end=\"3974\">ambos sab\u00e9is qu\u00e9 est\u00e1is buscando<\/strong>, aunque sea algo tan simple como \u201centendernos mejor\u201d.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"4035\" data-end=\"4080\"><strong data-start=\"4038\" data-end=\"4080\">El miedo m\u00e1s com\u00fan: \u201c\u00bfy si se enfr\u00eda?\u201d<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"4082\" data-end=\"4158\">Este miedo aparece siempre.<br data-start=\"4109\" data-end=\"4112\" \/>Y aparece porque quieres a tu pareja.<br data-start=\"4137\" data-end=\"4140\" \/>Porque te importa.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4160\" data-end=\"4293\">Es humano preguntarte si se distanciar\u00e1, si cambiar\u00e1 algo, si seguir\u00e9is siendo \u201cvosotros\u201d.<br data-start=\"4250\" data-end=\"4253\" \/>Pero tambi\u00e9n es importante recordar que:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\" data-start=\"4295\" data-end=\"4419\"><strong data-start=\"4298\" data-end=\"4419\">Quien quiere construir, vuelve a la mesa de la negociaci\u00f3n.<br data-start=\"4356\" data-end=\"4359\" \/>Quien quiere huir, se ir\u00e1 incluso sin tiempo de por medio.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4421\" data-end=\"4494\">El tiempo no rompe lo que es s\u00f3lido.<br data-start=\"4457\" data-end=\"4460\" \/>Solo aclara lo que estaba confuso.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"4501\" data-end=\"4544\"><strong data-start=\"4504\" data-end=\"4544\">\u00bfY qu\u00e9 hago yo mientras \u00e9l \u201cpiensa\u201d?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"4546\" data-start=\"4567\" data-end=\"4592\">\n<p data-start=\"4569\" data-end=\"4592\">Conectar con tu vida, amistades y\/o naturaleza.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"4593\" data-end=\"4621\">\n<p data-start=\"4595\" data-end=\"4621\">No revisar cada mensaje.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"4622\" data-end=\"4664\">\n<p data-start=\"4624\" data-end=\"4664\">No anticipar escenarios catastr\u00f3ficos.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"4665\" data-end=\"4726\">\n<p data-start=\"4667\" data-end=\"4726\">Apoyarte en tus relaciones, rutinas y anclas emocionales.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"4727\" data-end=\"4799\">\n<p data-start=\"4729\" data-end=\"4799\">Trabajar tu parte: inseguridades, miedos, l\u00edmites, heridas del pasado, por ejemplo iniciando
